Dr. Michele Hernandez and Mimi Doe cofounded Application Boot Camp® LLC after publishing their best-selling book, Don’t Worry: You’ll Get In in 2005. Application Boot Camp® LLC is a company devoted to empowering high school students from around the world in the college admissions process. Application Boot Camp® LLC offers the internationally acclaimed four day program for students entering their senior year of high school. This annual event has been featured in BusinessWeek, The New York Times, Forbes and The Huffington Post.

Spring 2013 Intern

The Application Boot Camp (ABC) Summer and Fall 2013 Intern will be instrumental in conducting high-level research for the company’s expanding repertoire of educational products. Additionally, the ABC Spring 2013 Intern will learn about small business and the educational consulting industry. The ABC intern will work remotely and be under the direct supervision of Dr. Michele Hernandez, Mimi Doe, and the ABC Director, Dr. Kristen Willmott.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and self-directed (qualities necessary for remote work) and comfortable collaborating with a small team. He/she will be organized and prompt in completing deadline-driven work. He/she will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and have superior Internet research skills. Boston location preferred for bi-monthly in-person meetings.

Join our dynamic team of Senior Counselors, working with high school students from around the world using our proven strategies to help them rise above the rest with their college applications. The 2013 application process opened in fall 2012 and we are seeking a small group of bright, detail-oriented, college students or recent graduates from top tier schools to join this competitive summer program. Must have prior experience tutoring.
