When I got the acceptance letter from Columbia yesterday, I was over the moon. Then acceptances followed from UPenn and Princeton and I thought I was the luckiest person on the entire planet…then I got a message from Stanford…and I GOT ACCEPTED!! I now think I’m the luckiest person in the whole universe. Thank you SO MUCH for everything! Your insight on how to make an application scholarly while still reflecting my personality helped make this happen. I would have never guessed in my wildest dreams that I would be able to get into my to-the-moon-and-back dream school. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I think that you are amazing and I can’t thank you enough. I know that the application process is a bit like creating a mosaic and that each little piece creates a picture of a larger whole. But I do think that the essays are the way for the student to show things about themselves that might not be apparent from the statistics, or to help reinforce the other things that the admissions counselor reads in the recommendations, and support the statistics they see.
